I’m writing to share with you an opportunity to publish articles in English for our academic journal.  To that end, we have been contacting colleagues who have within their lines of research the study of topics related to Central American and Caribbean countries. Please share this information and let us know of any colleague who might be interested in sending us a proposal for an article or essay.

Here is some updated information about the journal so you can share the call with your colleagues.  The journal Cuadernos Inter.c.a.mbio on Central America and the Caribbean (CICAC) is published by the Center for Research in Latin American Identity and Culture (CIICLA) of the University of Costa Rica. This multidisciplinary editorial project has as its main purpose the dissemination of scientific production on themes related to identities and cultures in Central America and the Caribbean.

Currently, CICAC is part of 16 indexes and databases, including: Scielo, Redalyc, Latindex, DOAJ, Dialnet, Redib.

In order for the texts to be considered for the next issue (Vol. 17, No. 2, 2020), they should be sent before April 20th, 2020. Texts received after that date will be considered for subsequent issues.  Please keep in mind that this invitation is permanently open for articles either in Spanish or in English.
