Dr. Becerra is a professor in department of marketing and a Honorary Professor of International Studies in McCoy College of Business Administration at Texas State University. He researches effects of culture and ethnicity on consume behavior as well as effect of branding in retailing and consumer patronage. His research has been published in Journal of Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Business Research, and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, among others. Dr. Becerra is member of editorial board of Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Marketing Analytics, and ESIC Marketing Journal. He is secretary, active member, and one of the founders of Association Latino Media and Marketing Communication Research.
